TODAY I SMILED...
~ Talking to Chuck on the phone. He sounds fine right now. He's in Bowling Green, Kentucky and he likes that town,...and that's a good, good thing! I hadn't spoken to him since he called me in the rehab in February after I broke my hip.
- Listening to firecrackers ba-booming outside. I wish I wasn't sofa-ridden so I could go see a fantastic July 4th show!
- Opening my balcony door to very warm 100-degree weather, then quickly closing it before the cool air conditioned air left the room and waved farewell. I'm SO happy I have air conditioning!
